"There is no greater effort more radical in its potential for saving the world than a transformation on the way we raise our children."

My story

My journey to Play Therapy began in 1995...

Young, compassionate and inspired to work with children, I found my feet working within Early Childhood services. It was here that I knew that working with children was where I was supposed to be. However as time went on, I started to see that many of these children needed help with something much bigger. Something that was going unheard and unnoticed; Childhood Trauma

After more than two decades of working with children, both in Early Childhood and Out Of Home care services. I started my new path towards helping children heal from early childhood trauma. Gaining my qualifications in Counselling and Play Therapy, I was driven by the experiences of these children to open my own private practice and Early Years Wellbeing was born.

Since its opening in 2018, I have seen many children take their bravest steps towards healing, as they shared their trauma and lived experiences with me. Overall I have been inspired, moved, and committed to providing this vital service to our communities most vulnerable people.

Each day in Australia, thousands of children in their early years are going unseen, unheard and their trauma unnoticed. I am truly grateful and privileged to be involved in helping those that attend this service. to ...Feel seen... Feel Heard and to give voice to  their lived experiences.

Warm Regards,

Lisa
